You'll interact with the knowledgeable guide and follow the same vein of gold that Old Rackensack chased in 1880. This mine was were instrumental in the founding of Cave Creek. Limited to 9 adult guests. Advance reservations are required.

Costumed interpreters will guide your family through the historic mining campus and tell stories of the gold-fueled days of the American West. Registration is limited and required. This event is FREE thanks to the generous funding of the Kiwanis Club of Carefree.

This event will be held at Harold’s Corral, which serves as the official sponsor. You'll be entertained by local favorite Kevin Causey, who is also Master of Ceremony. Plus, special guest Bob Boze Bell will join the fun and meet Poncho, the beer burro!! Also featured is a silent auction, balloon pop, the ol’ miner, western characters and a bake sale, among other activities.
