Cave Creek Museum is honored to welcome, Gary Owens, Jr., Director of The Huhugam Ki: Museum, as a featured speaker in this season’s Cave Creek Museum Presents series.

Mr. Owens is a long-time friend of our museum. The name “Huhugam Ki:”,  means the “House of the Ancestors” in the Oñk Akimel O’odham language. The Museum is involved in preservation and protecting the tribal collections and some of the historical archives of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community.

At this special presentation, he will share insight into the traditional gathering and farming of indigenous foods of the Salt River People.

Advance reservations are required.  (No discounts or Culture Passes will be honored.)
