Desert Foothills Land Trust presents the 13th annual Desert Discovery Day, a fun-filled day of adventure and educational activities in a natural desert setting. Unplug and join us for the 13th annual Desert Discovery Day -- a day of digital detox, fresh air, fun, and adventure for everyone! Held at Jewel of the Creek. (Terrain is not suitable for strollers.)

This program is for children ages 3-5; however, all ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied by at least one adult.  "The Night the Grandfathers Danced" -- Step into the life of young Autumn, dressed in her pink fringed shawl ready for her first Bear Dance and explore traditional Native American crafts, foods and objects from museum exhibits. This event is FREE thanks to the generous funding of the Kiwanis Club of Carefree. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged.
