Unplug and enjoy learning how to play indoor games, such as jacks, dominoes, pick up sticks, cup and ball, doll making and outside games such as marbles, hoop rolling, game of graces, and more. You'll interact with the knowledgeable guide and follow the same vein of gold that Old Rackensack chased in 1880. This mine was were instrumental in the founding of Cave Creek. Limited to 9 guests. Join us for our favorite fundraiser, the Cave Creek Museum's Annual Miners' Dinner on March 25, 2025, from 4.00-8.00 pm. After enjoying signature cocktails, we will dine al fresco to a with an all new special menu and entertained by local favorite, Kevin Causey, with special guest, Master Gunslinger Johnny Hotshot! Interactive entertainment also includes artists Lance Headlee, Marless Fellows and Nancy Brieman and a blacksmithing demo as well as an opportunity to pan for gold. And as usual, our Silent Auction is offering a variety of goodies to suit every taste and pocket--bring your wallet! Your support and attendance of this event allows the Museum to continue to grow and serve our community and guests.
Lorna Lockwood was a woman ahead of her time. Born in Douglas, Arizona, she chose to follow in her father's footsteps and became the first woman to graduate from an Arizona law school. Lorna became the first woman Justice of the Arizona Supreme Court. Learn of her amazing journey!
