Desert Awareness Committee brings a touch of the desert for lots of family fun. Become a “Desert Explorer” and figure out who eats who in the desert at our predator and prey station. Discover the mysteries behind how plants survive in the desert with no rain and hot temperatures at the scrubby skins station. Earn a special bookmark when you become desert ‘savvy’!

Kiwanis' Family Fun Days is FREE, thanks to the generosity of the Kiwanis Club of Carefree. Christmas for Arizona's homesteaders was very much "do-it-yourself".
