    Gold Fever Jeep Adventure

    This one-of-its-kind adventure tour is the perfect way to spend an exciting day learning about Arizona’s fascinating gold mining history while finding the "Gold Fever" within yourself. You'll interact with the knowledgeable guide and follow the same vein of gold that Old Rackensack chased in 1880. This mine was were instrumental in the founding of Cave Creek. Limited to 9 adult guests. Advance reservations are required.

    Kiwanis’ Family Fun Days: Fiber Fun Day

    Meet Roxanne Eklund, a Cave Creek felt sculptor who uses Churro sheep wool that's sourced from the Indigenous Navajo shepherds to create sculptures inspired by their culture. Try your hand at her spinning wheel and other “tools of the trade”. This event is open to visitors of all age groups. Registration is limited and required. This event is FREE thanks to the generous support of Kiwanis Club of Carefree.

Tickets may be purchased on the EVENT page. *** Museum opens at 9:00 am for event check-in; the AZ GOLD MINING EXPERIENCE™ begins at 10:00 am! The Cave Creek Museum’s AZ GOLD MINING EXPERIENCE™ is unique with its display of the complete hard rock ore extraction process with the mine shaft, tramway, ore carts, crushing and extraction that are always on display, but operated only during these events.

    Kiwanis’ Family Fun Days: Wild at Heart

    Wild At Heart is a program that will encourage understanding, respect and compassion for wildlife and the environment.  Adults learn to better understand the role of urban wildlife in our environment and children learn to engage with the natural world without fear. This event is FREE thanks to the generous funding of the Kiwanis Club of Carefree -- Registration is limited and required.

    Kiwanis’ Preschool Pioneers: Rosie and the Rustlers

    This program is for children ages 3-5; however, all ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied by at least one adult.  "Rosie and the Rustlers" Rope tying and rip-roaring western activities will help you get to know ranch boss Rosie and her gang of hardworking cowboys. This event is FREE thanks to the financial support of the Kiwanis Club of Carefree. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged.
