    Kiwanis’ Family Fun Days: Christmas in the Hills

    It’s holiday time at the museum!  Come help us decorate by making ornaments to hang on our tree and to take home.  See Cowboy Santa and join us in old fashioned Christmas caroling.  This event is FREE thanks to the generous funding of the Kiwanis Club of Carefree -- Registration is limited and required.

    This one-of-its-kind adventure tour is the perfect way to spend an exciting day learning about Arizona’s fascinating gold mining history while finding the "Gold Fever" within yourself. You'll interact with the knowledgeable guide and follow the same vein of gold that Old Rackensack chased in 1880. This mine was were instrumental in the founding of Cave Creek. Limited to 9 adult guests. Advance reservations are required.

The parcel of land known as Harmony Hollow is sited at the crossroads of all this living history and Steve Greenberg joins us to share some of its stories and stories of the surrounding area.
