The Cave Creek Museum’s AZ GOLD MINING EXPERIENCE™ is unique with its display of the complete hard rock ore extraction process, with the mine shaft, tramway, ore carts, crushing and extraction, that are always on display, but operated during the AZ GOLD MINING EXPERIENCE™.
This first-of-its kind adventure tour is the perfect way to spend an exciting day learning about Arizona’s fascinating gold mining history while finding the "Gold Fever" within yourself. You'll interact with the knowledgeable guide and follow the same vein of gold that Old Rackensack chased in 1880. This mine was were instrumental in the founding of Cave Creek. Limited to 9 guests. Advance reservations are required.

Join us at the Cave Creek Museum, along with our local Paranormal Investigation / Ghost Hunting Team that has been featured on the Travel channel’s Destination Fear and Ghost Adventures, AZ Ghost Adventures, for a night of Historical Hauntings and Paranormal Investigation.
Matthew Scott reprises his presentation of how the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery was created, including the selection of the fallen soldier. It's hard to describe how moving this story is as he describes the emotion-wrenching process.
Thanksgiving at Janey's!!! This year will be Janey's 3rd Annual "Turkey Palooza" charity event - a 50/50 fundraiser split between the Cave Creek Museum and the Foothills Food Bank! MARK YOUR CALENDAR for 5:45 -10:30pm, Wednesday, November 22 (Thanksgiving Eve) when Janey's will host a 9-artist musical event with the proceeds from the cover charge ($10 cover) going to this fundraiser. AND - It doesn't stop there! In addition, 50% of Janey's Thanksgiving morning coffee/tea sales will also go to the fundraiser! THANK YOU, JULIAN and Janey's!!!
