We are pleased to partner with the Holland Center in presenting Roger Naylor’s fascinating talk on Route 66.  The iconic highway celebrates its 100th birthday in 2026 and it has stories to tell!  The renowned author and museum favorite will discuss the Mother Road’s history and cultural significance. If the Grand Canyon is the heart of Arizona, then Route 66 is the main artery.

Roger Naylor is an award-winning Arizona author. He has been the freelance travel writer for the Arizona Republic since 2007.  He was inducted into the Arizona Tourism Hall of Fame in 2018 and is also the narrator of the Verde Canyon Railroad.  Naylor’s work has also appeared in the USA TodayThe Guardian, Country MagazineArizona Highways, and dozens more.

Books will be for sale following the presentation, including Naylor’s brand-new Arizona Route 66 Road Trip, and his best-selling Arizona Kicks on Route 66. For more information, visit www.rogernaylor.com.

Admission is $10.  (No discounts or Culture Passes will be honored.)  Advance reservations are required.
