Immerse yourself in a day in the life of a miner, blacksmith and other characters from Cave Creek's 1800'2 gold mining era. Try your hand at gold panning, experience what children in a gold camp did for fun. Costumed interpreters will guide your family through the historic mining campus and tell stories of the gold-fueled days of the American West. Registration is limited and required. Our May family event is to honor our mothers and grandmothers! Please bring your children and join us for an old-fashioned English Tea at the museum in honor of Mothers’ Day! We will be serving tea and lemonade, and each child will also have an opportunity to design a small terracotta pot and choose their own succulent plant to pot as a take home gift for Mom!
