“The Dust Never Settles” is a riveting, first-hand account from inside Ground Zero.
Cave Creeker Stacey Goodman (Stacey Goodman) was a Suffolk County Police Officer with federal disaster training in 2001 when she was called to help in a highly-secured area of Ground Zero, and witnessed firsthand the horrific details of the terror attacks that decimated the world’s financial center. She has written about her 23 days on the pile and working at the very center of the rescue and recovery efforts in her book “The Dust Never Settles”.
Stacey has been featured numerous times on national and local media outlets. Stacey will share aspects of her life and career that prepared her for the grueling episode.
