Cave Creek Museum “AmAZing Arizona” Summer Camp
June 11-15, 2018. 9AM – 1PM DAILY

The Cave Creek Museum Summer Camp is designed for students entering 4th-7th grade in the Fall. Registration is $75 for the first student, $65 for each additional student in the family. Daily snacks will be provided, but students are asked to bring a sack lunch each day. SPACES ARE LIMITED! REGISTER TODAY – Print a Registration form

MONDAY- ANCIENT TIMES
Did you know that there are Native American accomplishments all around you? Discover how Native Americans of the past made the things they needed to survive. You will have the opportunity to make accomplishments of your own.

TUESDAY- PIONEERS & MINES
“Those are girls chores” or “That’s a boy’s job” – Work together to learn how our lives differ from those of the pioneers and miners. Get your hands (a little) dirty learning how to get things done the old fashioned way – by hand!

WEDNESDAY- CRITTERS
Learn about our local wildlife and how to protect yourself and your pets while living in the desert. Meet some new friends as you discover the difference between desert friend and foe.

THURSDAY- THE 5 C’S OF AZ
Do you know about the 5 C’s of Arizona? What makes them so important to our state? How does tourism affect our community? We will explore our local treasures while thinking about how we fit into the bigger picture.

FRIDAY- ART
Learn about different kinds of art as we discuss “the art of paper”. Then enjoy the fruits of your labor as we discuss the “art of food”. It’s sure to be a tasty adventure!
